Credit rebuild - harder than you think

Headlines on Canadians getting deeper and deeper in debt had been on more frequently in the last few years. Living expenses had risen quite a bit, carrying cost are higher, interest rate is lower only to get us into a bigger debt! 

Along the way, the incapabliliy of us repaying our debt is diminishing. Partly due to some of us lost our jobs or contracts but haven't got a new gig yet; sudden (unplanned) expenses among the family, etc. 

I am not too sure since when Canadians take bankruptcy very light.

While the new year just rolled around, most of us would have thought of a "new year resolution". Regardless what is your resolution, improve your finances should be a part of it. Improve - there is always room for improvement :)

No matter where you are financially, you should start/continue to save in TFSAs, since our Liberal government had rolled back our 2016 TFSA contribution room, if you were 19 in 2009 (and had done absolutely nothing on it), you would have accumulated $46,500 TFSA contribution room by now.

TruFinancial Consultants once again donated hand sanitizers for good cause

Markham, Ontario, October 28, 2013 — Markham-based financial advising firm TruFinancial Consultants donated their hand sanitizers in support to a free wedding for a fabulous couple. Eco-friendly hand sanitizers were provided to wedding guests at the dinner.

This was the second time TruFinancial Consultants supporting the Wedding Saviours. The first one was the Durham Region wedding in 2012. Sometimes I feel really disappointing when prospects (or even clients) under estimate what we, advisors, can do for them and keep thinking we can't help them in anything if they don't have money (or they need the money to "spend").
 
Of course, it is a lot harder to try to turn around if you don't earn enough or you have limited assets, but that doesn't mean we can't do anything for you, as we, advisors often have different strategies to help you to stretch your dollars (that is even more important when you don't have enough money).
